Bringing Christ into the Controversial Issues of Our Culture

LET’S GO NEXT LEVEL!

What is my role as pastor, in equipping my people to stand on biblical truth in the midst of so many controversial issues, like?

Rampant Abortion
Transgenderism
The rise of Socialism
The rise of Islam (Sharia Law)
The rise of Antisemitism
Hindrances to our Freedom of Speech
Even things like: men in women’s sports, letting violent criminals go free, illegal immigration, aspects of DEI and public education....the list of controversial issues is long.

I’m finding more and more pastors who are concerned about these things, but who are not sure how to navigate these with their congregations.

I hear things like:
I don’t want to offend our people. I don’t want to divide our people. And yet, I know I’m supposed to equip our people! What do I do? How do I approach these difficult subjects biblically, in a way that doesn’t sound too political?

What I’m finding is...
All of these issues are theological, and the bible has a lot to say! Even though these topics are being pulled into the political arena, which makes us think they are “hands off” topics, they are not! These are theological in nature and we are positioned to have a voice!

SO...
I’m creating a safe space where we can talk about all this! I believe we – as pastors and leaders - should be the voice of influence and guidance for our people, giving them a clear biblical worldview on the controversial issues of our day!
